How do I freeze my membership? 

Memberships can be frozen for up to two months in any given year by providing written confirmation. We require a minimum of 15 days notice to process freezes for the following month.  Please note that medical freezes can last for longer than two months, but proof may be requested. 

How can I cancel my membership?  

If you wish to cancel your membership, written confirmation must be provided to our team with a minimum of 30 days’ notice, so that your membership will terminate at the end of the following calendar month after notice was given. Cancellations can only be processed outside of your membership commitment end date. 

Is my partner allowed to use my membership? 

Unfortunately not, your membership is just for you. If they would like to join, they can apply for a membership below on a couple membership package.

Can I bring a guest to the Club? 

Yes, you can bring a guest to BodyWorksWest using one of your guest passes. Please book your guest in advance with our reception team to access the club. 

I want to update my payment method for my membership payment, how can I do that? 

Please contact our membership team or enquire at reception.

New Members

Do I have to book in advance to access BodyWorksWest?

We do not require any advance booking for training on the gym floor, you can simply come in at your preferred time, but you will always need to sign in at reception. 

All classes and swimming slots require advance booking through the app, online or by enquiring at reception. 

How do I download the app? 

You can download the BodyWorksWest app from the Apple app store here or from Google Play here 

After downloading the App, please sign in using the email address the Club have on record for you. Simply click on the ‘Forgot your password?’ button on the email login page, enter your email address, and you will receive a link to create your own password. 

How do I book my initial assessment and biometric body composition consultation?

Classes

How do I book classes?

The easiest way to book classes is through our BWW app. You can also book online through our website or by enquiring at Reception. 

Please ensure you always check-in at Reception before your class.

Members are only permitted to book on to four classes and/or swimming slots in any one day.

What shall I bring to class?

You will need to bring your workout gear and a water bottle, everything else is provided by us. You will find all the equipment needed for your class, towels, hair and body products for your post-workout shower, in addition to GHD hairdryers and straighteners. 

There is a water fountain to refill your bottle, but if you forget to bring your own you can purchase water bottles and bottled water at reception. 
 

How do waitlists work?

You can join the waitlist for any fully booked class through the app or online. 

As soon as there is a cancellation, we will allocate a space on a first come first serve basis, and we will send you a confirmation e-mail. 

You can now register to receive information by text message on your phone regarding class bookings and waitlists. If you wish to register for this messaging service, please ask the reception team. You can opt-out of any future contact via text messaging at any time.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please cancel your slot at least 12 hours in advance if you cannot make it to class. Late cancellations will be classified as a no-show. 

If you fail to show for five bookings within a calendar month, your booking rights will be automatically suspended for the duration of one week.  

This notification will be sent by email. The policy maximises the potential number of slots available to members. Please email us at gym@bodyworkswest.co.uk if you have reason to think that you should have not received a booking-rights suspension.

How do I cancel my class booking?

How long in advance can I book?

You can book all classes 7 days in advance.

How can I share feedback on class timetable and/or instructor?

I don’t have the app, can I still book classes?

Yes, you can book online through our website and at reception.

Pilates Reformer

I am not a BodyWorksWest member, can I book a class in the Pilates Reformer studio?

Absolutely! Our Pilates Reformer studio is open to all. You can buy single classes to access a variety of classes suited to all levels and fitness needs. 

I have never done Pilates Reformer, what can I expect?

We recommend booking one of our Pilates Reformer – Beginner classes. In this class the instructor will introduce you the technique, equipment and exercises, and you will quickly gain confidence. 

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of your class and let the instructor know this is your first time.  

Do you offer one-on-one sessions for Pilates Reformer?

Yes, we do! You can book a Pilates personal training session with one of our instructors, you can find all information below

Personal Training

How can I buy a PT session or pack?

Personal Training packages can be purchased at the reception desk and via the app. 

Always discuss which pack is most suitable with your trainer before purchase.

How can I book a PT session?

Once you have purchased a Personal Training package, all session bookings will be conducted through your chosen personal trainer. They will keep you  advised on how many sessions have been completed and any system diary booking.  

All you have to do is turn up at the agreed time and have a great workout.

How can I see how many sessions remain on my account?

You can access records of all purchases, and any PT sessions remaining in your account through the app or by enquiring at reception. 

Pool & Spa

Do I need to book in advance to access the pool?

Yes, we require all members to book swimming slots and aqua classes in advance. 
No bookings are required for Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. 

How do I book a Pool visit?

You can book your Pool visit through the app, online or by enquiring at reception.

How far in advance can I book a Pool visit?

You can book up to 7 days in advance. 

How many people are allowed in the pool for each time slot?

A maximum of four people is allowed at any one time.  

Guest Passes

How do I get a guest pass?

On joining you will receive five guest passes, you can also purchase additional guest passes at reception. 

Can I guarantee my guest a space in a class?

Guests can participate in classes if spaces are available at the time of the session. The guest will need to have a valid pass to access the club. 

Referrals

Do you have a referral scheme?

Yes, we do! For every member you introduce to BodyWorksWest, you will receive a reduction from your monthly direct debit, or if you paid for your membership up front, you will receive the equivalent monthly reduction upon the renewal of your membership.

How do I download the app?

You can download the app from the Apple app store HERE or from Google Play HERE

I forgot my password, how can I sign in?

Simply click on ‘Forgot your password?’, enter your email address and we will send you a link to reset it. 

I want to receive notifications from the club, how can I do that?

When you open the app for the first time, we’ll give you the option to opt in or out of these notifications. If you change your mind, and need to enable or disable notifications later: 

 -Android users can change push notifications through the More > Settings section of the app by toggling the Send me mobile notifications option. 

-iOS users can change push notifications through the More > Settings section of the app by toggling the Clear settings option and then restarting the app.
